Emblematic: the Humanity Project
Commissioned by the Arts Council and Northern Stage theatre to create a projection piece to run alongside a production of Will Eno’s “Oh The Humanity” and the larger 2011 Humanities Festival. In collaboration with Adrian Park we worked with amateur actors through a series of workshops to capture footage of emotion expressed through the face which we used as the basis for the piece. Our challenge to figure out and display how Newcastle was feeling at any given time.
This public art work was projected onto the Kings Gate Building in Newcastle City Centre.
